My initial interest and fascination with art started with alcohol inks, and that was particularly related to a lot of abstract work.  My art journey took off during covid lockdown and having the time to spend working on tutorials etc I began working with watercolours and loved them.  Then I found acrylics and being an avid gardener, the chance to paint botanicals was too good to not give it a go hence my fascination with peonies and all things botanical.  Not content to leave it there, I then followed up with oils which I truly love for their blending capabilities.  I've ventured into some landscape work and am currently working on large wildlife paintings and am keen to take on whatever comes along as nothing is out of my range to “give it a go”.  I have won a few awards with a local Taupo art competition and I take on commissions which keeps me pretty busy.
