​I have been taking photos for over 50 years specialising in people photography – weddings, events, portraits, portfolios, model photography and artistic nudes. These days my time is primarily spent on personal projects. I also belong to some life drawing groups as I find the discipline slows me down and makes me look more carefully.

In 2011, I emigrated from England to West Auckland in New Zealand where I live now. I fell in love with the West Auckland beaches and have done several model shoots and artistic nude shoots there. I like to combine and contrast the figure with the landscape.

The collaboration with the models is crucial. My images in this book could not have been produced without their contributions.

The photos in this book were all taken in West Auckland – mainly at Karekare and some private bush in Ranui.
