Having come from Guernsey, Channel Islands where I was raised, my Husband Bill, Tim our son, and myself came to New Zealand in 1973.

I have done a lot of crafts over the years including lead lighting, card making, paper tole, bead work crochet etc; but never have I had a go at painting.

One day there was an article in the local chronicle, Grace Goss was in it, she is a member of the Horowhenua art society. In the article she said that you are never too old to paint so come and give it a go. I became a member and have never looked back since. I am mainly self-taught but I have attended a couple of workshops.

The medium I use is oil. I have done several paintings ranging from landscapes, flowers, animals and I enjoy them all.
