Our members are invited to submit up to 4 entries in our AWARDS EXHIBITION

There will be a $10 entry fee per artwork

There will be prizes awarded in the categories as outlined in this entry form

All artworks will be for sale in the exhibition
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

All entry forms must be FULLY completed, including pricing. Incomplete entry forms and late entries will not be accepted.

Please note, running a member’s expo is reliant on volunteer help. Please let us know if and when you will be able to volunteer in any of the below capacities:
On “Bring in Day”
At the Helpdesk during the exhibition
Helping with the Pack down after the exhibition
Delivering leaflets or doing letterbox drops
Putting up signage
Delivering and putting up posters at our sponsor’s locations

Credit Card payments will incur an extra 2.5% charge.

All artworks must be for sale and a 25% (incl GST) commission applies on sales. This will be deducted from the artist’s payment at the end of the exhibition.

Payments may take up to 14 working days (from 29 April) to process and will be direct credited to your account – (the account number that you have provided on your entry form).

Personal tax liability is the responsibility of the artist.

Insurance of artwork is the responsibility of the artist. Although Waitākere Arts will take all care, we will take no responsibility for lost or damaged work.

Work must not have been entered in any previous Waitākere Arts Exhibitions, must have been completed within the last year and not part of any tutored workshop or class. It must be completely original.

The Committee reserves the right to refuse an entry if it does not comply with the above Terms and Conditions,
or is deemed inappropriate or is poorly presented.
EXHIBITON ENTRIES

You must be a current member of the Waitākere Arts to enter.

Artworks can be delivered to Shed 2 on Bring In Day. See times above.

All entries will be exhibited in Shed 2, Corban’s Estate Art Centre from 19 - 28th of April

Any changes to your details must be made on or before Bring In Day. No changes can be made after this date.

All artwork must be dry.

Entries must be ready for hanging with hooks, D – Rings, cord and legible swing tags attached. There will be a charge for purchase of D Rings or cord on the day of $10.

Each entry must be identified with a swing tag attached to the hanging string, with artist info – (Artist Name, Title of work, Medium, Category, Price).

Work over 5kg cannot be wall mounted.

Bill Laing Dry Arts award (pastel, charcoal, pencil)
Hetty Boere Nature Theme Award (no figurative/portraits/people)
Craft / Ceramics
People’s Choice Award
Maximum of 4 entries across ALL categories
PAINTING – ALL MEDIUMS (incl. mixed media)
Must be ready to hang as described above. Max size of 1.2m wide. Max weight of 5kgs
SCULPTURE / ASSEMBLAGE / CRAFT / CERAMICS
No max height, Max width: 1200mm
Some works may need to be installed with the artist assisting ie. Heavy or a specific arrangement. Please consult with Waitakere Arts.
PHOTOGRAPHY
The recommendation for print is that you need to save images at a high resolution, i.e., 300dpi and upwards in a JPG OR TIFF format.
Prints must be submitted to exhibition standard, i.e., good quality matt, appropriately backed on photographic paper (not printer paper
Prints to be mounted on firm backing so that the prints and backing cannot become separated e.g., matt or foam board or any other surface which will support your prints. Please make sure that the cord and means of fixture can support the weight of your work.
Size: Maximum size is of 1200mm wide or long
