Waitakere Arts is available for Open Sessions (where artists from different genres meet to "create" art.


These artists are serious about "making art" in all it's various forms, from painting (in all mediums); "crafting", wonderful pieces of jewellery and pottery.  This is not only a social event but an integration of various talents.


We are a not-for-profit organisation supporting arts participation in the community, promoting arts practice from grassroots to professional level artists. We also fund and facilitate art classes for those with special needs. 


WCCAC annually hosts The Trusts Art & Sculpture Awards Exhibition (TTASA) in October and is open to all artists working in oil, acrylic, pastels, watercolours, ink, pencil, crayon, gouache, charcoal, pen, chalk, collage, mixed media, print-making and sculptures.


Our Members Exhibitions brings out the best in showing off our member's creativity and this is held in March each year.
